Wang Yuan (1746 - 1813) Ruoshui by style name, Danxuan by sobriquet, a native of Hangzhou, ZheJiang province, was a painter of the Yuan dynasty. He excelled in painting landscapes, human figures, flower, and birds. He studied painting human figures under Tang Ren, landscapes under Guo Xi, flowers and birds under Huang Quan.
