The Chinese Unicorn or the Dragon Horse (also known as Chi Lin, Qi Lin, ot Kei Loon) is a very popular Chinese mythical creature. The unicorn is generally depicted with a combination of a body of a deer, scales of a fish, cloven toes similar to those of a horse, and a furry horn (different variations have one, two, or even three horns.) According to the legend, the unicorn is used to guard the gates of heaven; thus it generally symbolizes protection and guardianship of home and family.

The Chinese Unicorn is portrayed as an auspicious symbol of good luck, wisdom, good will, prosperous descendants, longevity, wealth, and career advance.
